This 100ml low-cost, disposable sterile filter funnel has a polypropylene upper and a high-impact polystyrene collar. The gray cellulose nitrate membrane turns black when wet, making it easier to detect and count growing colonies. Use for microbiological analysis testing, food/beverages, raw material, sterility testing, and finished product quality. Upper separates easily from lower for easy access to the membrane. Membrane meets U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requirements for water quality work. Funnel adapter allows use with #8 stoppers. Six funnel adapters are included with each case.
